ComfortNotes

BUILT AROUND AUDIOLOGY

About ComfortNotesYour expertise.
Clearer notes.

A simpler documentation workspace for audiology professionals and clinics.

FOR YOUR PRACTICE

Built for the way you listen.

ComfortNotes supports audiology professionals and clinics, not just one practice. Choose an appointment, type or record what happened, then review your draft notes.

From microsuction and hearing tests to tinnitus appointments, coloured service circles keep the workspace focused on the consultation in front of you.

YOUR NOTES, YOUR JUDGEMENT

Less organising. More oversight.

The backend organises your words into drafts and flags details to confirm. Original notes stay available for comparison; you check the meaning, add known details and approve each document before export.

ComfortNotes supports documentation. It does not replace clinical judgement, make diagnoses or send documents to patients automatically.

Simple to start

Choose a circle and write in your own words.

Clear to review

Compare draft wording with the original findings.

You stay in control

Review and approve before anything is exported.

THE STORY BEHIND COMFORTNOTES

Built for audiology. Growing with clinical practice.

ComfortNotes began with audiology, with a clear aim: to help clinicians spend less time organising documentation and more time focused on the person in front of them.

That aim extends beyond hearing care. Turning observations into clear records, letters and plans takes time across clinical professions. Recognising the potential to support that work prompted the development of additional profession-specific workspaces, built around the same capture, review and approval process.

Each workspace is developed around its profession’s documentation needs, terminology and relevant professional guidance—not simply a renamed version of the original. Clinical records and supporting documents vary by workspace. As each workspace is prepared for wider release, its supporting references, review dates, scope and limitations need to be checked and documented. Being informed by guidance does not mean approval or endorsement by a professional body.

Clinicians remain responsible for checking accuracy against their source notes and approving every document before use. ComfortNotes supports documentation; it does not replace clinical judgement.

Audiology remains at the heart of ComfortNotes and on its homepage, reflecting where the platform began. Additional workspaces are accessed through authorised clinic accounts and eligible staff assignments.

More profession-specific workspaces are planned. Availability will expand as their templates, functionality and clinical review are completed. Any testing restrictions shown within a workspace still apply.

MEET THE CREATOR

Raymond Hill

Designer & Developer of ComfortNotes

Raymond Hill is an HCPC-registered hearing aid dispenser and a social worker. He designed and developed the Comforts Hearing and ComfortNotes websites and is the creator of Daily Mindset Moments.

More time for the person in front of you.

Comforts Hearing believes that good hearing care starts with listening. Clear documentation supports that care, but paperwork should not take attention away from the person in front of the clinician.

ComfortNotes was developed to support this approach, helping audiology professionals turn notes and dictation into clinical records, patient letters and referrals. Available to approved clinics, it keeps professional judgement at the centre: clinicians review, confirm and approve every document before use.

Raymond also designed and developed a Tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex Simulator as part of his BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology) research project. This reflects his interest in creating practical digital tools for audiology education and clinical documentation.
